There’s already some big studio such as PIXOMONDO and Technicolor (MPC??), I think they want to expand the compagny in asia to be able to work on a project 24h/24h, and not depending on the time zones, for example, at PIXOMONDO, when the L.A studio shut down the pipeline at the end of the day, the Shanghai studio can take back the shots and the assets for progressing the work done at L.A studio, or updating the shots according the director wishes. But I don’t know if it’s the goal of this expension

It seems it’s a way to work 24h by day.
any info about DD in Australia ? -

I dont know if it’s the point on working 24h a day, but it’s really bad, because it will take more time to make the correction and personally I dont like to discuss with a guy I dont know via email, it’s way better to have everybody in the same facility and then, you can chat with your colleague in person, we are doing a team work, I want to help my colleague next to me, but it’s hard to help a guy 10000miles away from you!
About DD expension, I will investigate
